I have a wireless router, and also a cable modem. Is it okay to connect the VOIP adapter to the cable modem and have an Ethernet cable go to the wireless router (which is connected to the computer)? Optimally, this software would be able to run on a computer connected to the same network without having to install anything on the server - however, I am not opposed to any solutions including the server.
We’re using Avaya VoIP phones that go directly into our network.
